1 cup tomato juice
¾ cup Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned uncooked)
1 egg, beaten
¼ cup chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 ½ pounds lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
• Heat oven to 350 degrees
• Combine all ingredients except ground beef/turkey; mix well.
• Add ground beef and mix lightly but thoroughly.
• Press into an 8 x 4” loaf pan.
• Bake for 1 hour
• Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
